Lesotho, South Africa and Zimbabwe were chosen for their favorable climatic conditions to cultivate medical cannabis. Our aim is to provide the highest consistent possible quality while meeting our offtake agreement requirements. Having first class sites with access to highly skilled farmers and experienced agronomists will be key to a successful outcome. We have chosen different sites to take advantage of the varying climates enabling high quality supply year-round.

Our future starts today with everyday a new beginning. The future of agriculture is changing rapidly. In Lesotho we are in advanced talks with the government helping to develop an (SEZ) Special Economic Zone whose reach will extend far beyond the borders of Lesotho. Training new agronomists to international certifiable levels is another aspect of Botanapharms commitment to quality and control.

A variety of regulations, standards and approaches are applied today across the food and agriculture sector from production to consumption developing systems to measure, manage and improve product quality and safety more effectively. Good manufacturing practices (GMPs) and (Hazard Analysis and Critical Point (HACCP) system) will be implemented to ensure the production is of the highest level.
